Our facility, with two operating rooms, meets the same exacting standards as hospital-based outpatient surgery units. In fact, it was the first outpatient surgery center in Maine to be certified as meeting the high standards established by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Our outpatient eye surgery center is also certified by Medicare. For further assurance that our patients receive the highest quality of care, we have Maine’s only full-time anesthesiologist whose practice is dedicated to eye surgery.

When surgery is part of treatment, our outpatient surgery center assures that you will receive specialized care in a setting especially designed to make your surgery as comfortable and easy as possible. During surgical procedures, family members are invited to be nearby, in our comfortable private waiting area.
