Dr. Cassidy has practiced ophthalmology since 1977. He is a Cataract & Refractive Surgeon who specializes in Cataract Surgery, Lens Implants and LASIK Surgery in Maine. He graduated from Albany Medical College, served his residency at the University of Rochester and was awarded a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. A Maine native, Dr. Cassidy is an avid sailor and skier, and enjoys fishing with his sons. He lives with his family in South Freeport.
