Dr. Daly has been practicing ophthalmology since 1991. He is a Cataract, Glaucoma and Oculoplastic Specialist who provides Cataract Surgery, Lens Implants, treatment of Glaucoma and Eye Plastic Surgery as well as caring for general ophthalmology patients in Maine  Dr. Daly graduated from Williams College and magna cum laude from the University of Maryland Medical School. He served his residency and was awarded a fellowship in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Dr. Daly is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. His interests include skiing, golf, biking and helping his three children with their homework.

Dr. Daly comments on becoming an ophthalmologist:

“I always wanted to have patients that I could get to know and take care of for the long haul. However, I also loved the exciting possibility of helping patients by using microsurgery techniques. I found that ophthalmology was the only specialty that mixed these two aspects of patient care in the way I wanted. Once I realized this, ophthalmology was the only choice I seriously considered.”
