Dr. Solish has practiced ophthalmology since 1990. He is a Glaucoma and Cataract Surgery specialist. Dr. Solish is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Following an internal medicine internship at the Boston V.A. Medical Center, he undertook ophthalmology residency training at New England Medical Center. His subspecialty glaucoma fellowship training was completed at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Solish is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Solish is also a delegate to the American Medical Association and serves as Chair of the Ophthalmology Section Council at the AMA. He teaches medical students and residents from the University of Vermont School of Medicine and Maine Medical Center. His interests include running, hiking, gardening and beekeeping.
