Ophthalmologist Aaron Parnes, MD

Aaron Parnes, MD

Retinal Detachment and Retina Specialist

“My first exposure to ophthalmology was at the end of my second year in medical school during a day devoted to a variety of specialties.  Only a small portion of time in medical school is spent learning ocular anatomy and disease, but that introduction was enough for my interest to be piqued. I am certainly glad I chose to pursue ophthalmology, considering that it has become, as it has for many physicians in the field, more than just a career for me.  The field marries the rewarding opportunity to restore sight and create lasting relationships with patients with the challenge of performing delicate microsurgery utilizing cutting-edge technology.”
